When food products such as cocoa, ginger, tomatoes and onions are being conveyed from ghana to togo or vice versa, the trader only needs to get the vehicle and the goods checked and then pay the legal duties, that's how these products are cleared.
But if these products are from Ghana being sent to Nigeria or Benin or vice versa, we refer to these products as goods in transit. With these goods, the trader has to pay for transiting.
